Business Process Owner (BPO) internship Operations
Job Description
As an Operations at Jacobs Douwe Egberts you will be integrated in the Belux Operations team and become part of the team responsible for the planning and execution of technical service on our coffee machines (B2B). This will give you the insights on how we deliver key service to our customers! We create remarkable customer experiences through our services! You will report to and be guided by the Business Process Owner (BPO) who is in charge of improving processes and Operations business. After two weeks of training, including field trips to customers to understand the business, you will be ready to come up with your first improvement proposals.
Your main responsibilities:
- You will actively be integrated in the Operations Team where you are asked to be a supportive member and take a responsibility on some tasks.
- Invoicing and cost management
- Measure and follow up on KPI’s and target
- Data entry and analysis
- Pick up an improvement topic and initiate an improvement project.
Qualifications
- You are an enthusiastic student with a matching educational business background, and preferably a supply chain, Business Administration, or operations passionate.
- You are a team player with strong communication & ability to translate numbers/data to strategies and improvement actions
- You work pro-actively, take ownership of your own projects and deadlines, and are result driven
- In line with your educational assignment, an improvement project related to Operations
- You need to be fluent in English
- You’re available for at least 3 months starting September/October
